The best approach is to cross-reference the “suspicious” devices found on the network with a physical inspection of objects in the room, paying extra attention to anything pointed at the bed, the fitting area, or the bathroom. An unknown device by itself isn’t proof of anything, but an unknown device physically aimed at a private area is reason enough to dig deeper.
